Applying New Brand Standards to Print Media

the challenge

LEAD is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Philadelphia with the objective to foster the professional development of the area's diverse youth toward careers in business, engineering, and computer science.

Seeking further development of their brand, LEAD came to iperdesign seeking a redesign for their program brochures in an effort to raise awareness of the organization's mission and to recruit potential new students and partners.

the solution

We worked very closely with LEAD to provide several concepts, each with varying size options and different takes on the brand restyling. We proceeded by combining elements of each option and applied the redeveloped brand standards to five new brochures: LEAD Business, LEAD Engineering, LEAD Global, Inspired by LEAD, and the master LEAD Program brochure.[/column2]

design features

Each brochure is color-coded by a universal key and features retouched original photographs taken at official LEAD events, illustrating the true atmosphere of each organizational program without needing to use stock imagery.

We were able to draw more attention to important numbers and statistics for each program by implementing simple graphic elements (timelines and charts) that keep the design neat and clean.
