the challenge:

Expanding the scope of our continuing partnership with REALITYRx, iperdesign was given the task of developing brand identities and mobile apps to help drive sales of three products under the Cangene brand:
Winrho® SDFHepagam B® and episil®.

While the majority of sales collateral for the pharmaceutical industry had previously been geared towards printed brochures, posters, and various leave-behinds, we needed to place the proper emphasis on the advent of digital technology with the goal of helping Cangene make the shift to the digital age.

the solution:

Through close collaboration with REALITYRx’s marketing and design teams, we helped create a comprehensive set of brand standards for each product. Once that objective was reached, iperdesign developed an iOS application for the iPad to be utilized by the Cangene salesforce. The app includes visual aids and methods of action (MOA), along with promotional, product, clinical, and patient support. The app also includes a variety of videos that help articulate the message and product offerings for WinRho, Hepagam, and Episil.

Our main focus was to redevelop what would traditionally be communicated in print and translate those across multiple channels of communication, forming one digital application that showcases each product.

Tablet use is becoming more mainstream among physicians, reaching 62% in 2012 (Manhattan Research). We created this communication tool with the idea that we can bring together multiple streams of information to both the physicians and the patients who are already familiar with this device.

The easily accessible side menu allows the user to have quick access to information for each product. Videos, images, and graphs are seamlessly integrated within the design, bringing a new level of visual appeal to digital pharmaceutical applications.
