Work Slamp

Slamp produces uniquely styled lamps in Opalflex®, a thermoplastic material specially designed to diffuse light softly. Some of the products we have designed for Slamp include:

Magic: the result of our exploration of the relationship between transparency, light and color, and the wonderful effects that can be created by superimposing layers of different materials. Once the layers are illuminated, voilà! They generate a beautiful effect of colors guaranteed to draw attention.

Mimì: the first table lamp made from Opalflex® and satinized aluminum, and designed by Iperdesign's Massimiliano Datti. It was so well received, that in September of 2001, the Italian Postal Service placed Mimì on a postage stamp in the collection "Design Italiano", of which two million copies were printed.

Lao: our interpretation of Feng Shui, bringing together a soft, pure and natural form with warm light to communicate the "vital energy" that flows between human beings and the place they call home. The unity of the two creates an atmosphere of total visual comfort.

Lunar: delightfully light and original, the design of these ceiling lamps reaches into the past to mimic the "flying saucer" shape often found in science fiction cartoons of the 1950's. The design of the lamp exalts the material properties.
