International House Philadelphia
Celebrating the Essence of a Vibrant Global Community
Iperdesign is proud to be the agency-of-choice for International House Philadelphia, a non-profit, multicultural organization that provides both residential services and dynamic arts programming including film, live music, festivals, art, community programs and more.
The Challenge:
The challenge for IHP was multi-fold: First, they wanted to rejuvenate their brand internally and within the larger community by capturing what makes them modern and hip as “A Living Global Village”. Beyond that, they needed to develop brand standards to help them stay on message, improve the consistency of their materials, artfully and clearly communicate vast amounts of information, and capture the attention of widely varied audiences including IHP’s international residents, individual and corporate members, supporters of the independent arts community and residents of the Greater Philadelphia region. Then… they needed us to do it all over again for a year-long celebration of their Centennial in 2010-2011.
The Solution:
While immediately taking over the many projects of this fast-paced client, including program magazines and newsletters, event flyers, postcards and posters, membership materials, housing and facilities brochures, promotional items, creative for their annual gala fundraiser, facilities signage and more; we simultaneously worked with IHP to develop a new, more modern corporate logo that has since been further adapted for their Centennial Year. We also developed a style guide to ensure a unified and easily recognizable look and feel across all materials created for the organization, while allowing for flexibility in the creative to reflect the diverse and dynamic nature of IHP programming.
